On this page you will have puzzles to solve, information on Centers, and a few pictures. There are three Mindbenders that you can print out and solve. There is also a sample Minbender. Centers are problem solving skill builders. Each center helps build a different problem solving skill. For example, Mindbenders, my favorite center, builds the process of elimination skill.

Mindbender 1


Figure out the following Mindbender.Abby, Max, Neal, and Ruthy are nicknamed Bubba, Peet, Rosy, and Skipper. Read the clues to find each person's nickname. 1. Abby is
taller than Skipper and is shorter
than Peet, who dyed her hair blue last Monday. 2. Skipper is younger than Neal and older than Bubba. P.S. The girls are: Abby and Ruthy. The boys are: Neal and Mac.   This kind of problem would be on a sheet of paper, and you would solve it on the table below

Mindbender 2

    Here is a Mindbender I made myself. Molly, Benny, Andy, and Franny all have the last names Kaleb, Nolan, King, and Warp. Who has which last name? Use the following clues to solve the puzzle. Girls: Molly and Franny Boys: Benny and Andy
    1. Kaleb can do a cartwheel better than Andy and Benny.
    2. Nolan can stand on her head for 19 min, but Molly can do it for 20.
    3. Warp and Benny are on the gymnastics team, but Franny and Kaleb are not.

Mindbender 3

    Below is the second Mindbender I made.
    Matt, Bri, Phillip, and Carly all have last names that start with C. They are Camper, Cirra, Clay, and Chang. Find the belonging last name to each person via the clues below.
1. Matt and Clay played jump rope with Phillip and Carly.
2. Carly and Camper are best friends with Cirra.
3. Matt and Camper dislike Bri.
