How
do I get to W.C. Britt Elementary School?
...
W.C. Britt Elementary is located at 2503 Skyland Drive in Snellville,
Georgia. Our school is located across the street from South
Gwinnett High School.
If you are on Highway 78 and coming from the Stone Mountain area,
look for Skyland Drive approximately 7 miles after Stone Mountain
Park.
If you are on Highway 78 and coming from the Athens direction, Skyland
Drive will be the first left after you pass South Gwinnett High
School.
There is a Burger King and gas station located at the intersection
of Skyland Drive and Highway 78. Click here

What
time does school start and end?
The
official school day begins at 8:50 a.m. and ends at 3:20 p.m.
Students are allowed to enter the school building beginning at 8:20
a.m.
On early release days, school is dismissed at 12:50 p.m.
What
constitutes a "Full Day" of attendance?
To
be counted present for the whole day, students must attend for at
least the equivalent of half the school day.
This does not have to be continuous time.
What
constitutes an "Excused" absence?
Personal
illness of a student
Serious illness or death of a student's family member
Celebrating a religious holiday
